Start applying in the center of the face, where uneven skin tone is often the most apparent, or on any areas that need coverage, and blend outward onto the forehead, nose, and chin. Not sure why I waited so long to try this foundation. It is everything it promised to be. I love the light coverage and blurring. All I need is a touch of concealer and my skin looks beautiful. I use it for every day and special occasions.
This is the only foundation I buy again and again, but this is the first time I bought from the company's website. Its packaging is annoying, you never know when it's going to run out and at some point, the button usually breaks. It is true that it is convenient for travel, but I would be very happy for a different packaging. The product itself is excellent, light and buildable. I use number 3 for light skin (not pale), a little pinkish, perfect match.
Love the foundation, but not in love with the packaging. Definitely not easy to get out of the bottle.

Very smooth, even coverage while maintaining a lightness! This shade is a bit light yet still works beautifully. After applying small amounts, & not all over, well blended lightly with my fingertips, a natural skin like, but better appearance is what I see. One's skin still shows through a fine veil of application! The formulation is really good & allows the colour, tone & undertone to not be perfect. Granted my skin (light- light medium- hazel eyes- dark brown & silvering hair) is a myriad of rosiness, reds, sunny warmth- sun exposure & fairness! An active daily life outdoors my entire life & now farming & chicken ranching does not a porcelain beauty create! The Surratt Dew Drop Foundation wears well, looks & feels great & does not dry. Maybe even adds an element of soothing protection? My complexion looks neither dry nor wet- oily- shiny. A bit more actual dewiness would be welcomed here for my dry skin in the dry high desert climate where I live. I do apply a polypeptide moisturizing cream daily & underneath the Dew Drop Foundation! My makeup & skincare routines are basic & minimal. I am a no makeup, makeup gal forever! The Dew Drop Foundation is a great Fit!
