Tips
After filling your brows in with our Expressioniste Brow Pencil, finish by sweeping on our Expressioniste Brow Pomade to lock in their shape. Use a tinted pomade alone for a subtle infusion of color and increased density, or clear for a natural, brushed-up result.

Messy Application
I really like the color of the brow gel, but the application is very messy. The applicator is very long, so when you go to put it on, you end up getting product all over and under your brows. I think this might work best as the clear gel and use the brow pencil for color and definition.

The Oomph my Brows Needed!
I saw this pomade in a YouTube video and had to have it. My brows are coarse but sparse in places and more so toward the tails. The way I use Expressioniste for my type of brows is to first create hair strokes with a brow pen or pencil. After that step, I finish with Surratt brow pomade by beginning in the middle of my brow and moving to the tails, then from the front of my brow toward the middle. It places the right amount of product where it needs to go. I use a very light hand and a magnifying mirror so I can see the brow hairs being coated just on the surface. I get naturally believable brows and they stay in place without that laminated look. I wish I knew about this pomade sooner! It’s outstanding!

Perfect every day brow
Great tinted pomade. Gives a very natural look to my thick brows. I don’t think it would work well on sparse brows or thin brows.

This really fluffs up the brows and makes them look full and luscious. I'd like to see the shade range expanded to add a grey and ash brown. I have very dark ashy brown hair and Raven does work but find it is just a tad too dark for everyday.
