This foundation was released years ago before the glass skin/dew craze, so it’s more laid back in dewiness. It is not a full glam/runway kind of foundation. The coverage is sheer so the foundation is very forgiving if you ordered the wrong shade, as long as you match your undertone. Go lighter to look more “light” (but go too light and you’ll look corpsy). In a sense you can even use a darker shade to bronze. I wouldn’t say it’s a good idea to build this foundation (though you can) because it’s so small and you only get droplets, which means this foundation is not meant to be built up like a medium coverage foundation.
Formula wise, it’s sheer but not too light on the skin. Light lotion-like. That’s probably how this foundation gives the slight relaxed supple finish, without looking like you came out of the shower and didn’t dry your face.
This is still my number one foundation because it’s so good for everyday wear (and light underpainting)
