different but works
This is a mascara with no or little brush to apply but is eaasy to use and goes on nucely but does not make lashes longer or thicker
Our Japanese-made metal “brush” mascara allows you to coat every single lash—even the shortest, hardest to reach hairs—all the way down to the roots. The smooth, intense-black formula, exclusive to Surratt, creates the effect of elongated, fuller lashes, from corner to corner. For precise definition, sweep on one coat. For increased density, use two. For extreme volume, use three or more coats to build without bulk.
No flaking or smudging. Fast-drying, long-wearing, water-resistant.
Before application, prep lashes with our Relevee Lash Curler. For complete coverage, swipe the metal brush from the root of the lashes all the way to the ends. For gentle but thorough removal, use an oil-based eye makeup remover.
For best results, and to ensure that this unique formula coats the wand with every use, we recommend storing the tube upright. Storing it on its side could result in uneven distribution of the product. Do not pump the wand into the tube; introducing air into the tube can dry out the formula.

This. Mascara. Is. Life.
Where to begin? Genius packaging, minimalist yet functional and reduced waste. Can a mascara be “earth friendly”? Apparently, Surratt thinks so! Waterproof, fast drying and smudge resistant. Holy grail for sure!
Noir Lash Tint is my go-to mascara. It give a perfect application every time! It adds volume to my lengthy but sparse lashes, doesn’t clump or flake and lasts all day. Plus it’s so easy to remove with a gentle oil- based cleanser. What more could you want?
As a loyal user of Lancome's Monsier Big Volume Mascara, I knew a lash tint would be a challenge. Perimenopause has given my long fine lashes baby fine lashes as siblings. I have followed Troy Surratt since the 1980s and knew if I was going to try one it needed to have minimal ingredients, great applicator, and allow me to reach those baby fine lashes in the corner of my lashes. Answered prayer ... objectives achieved and it dries so fast. There is a learning curve if you are used to high volume mascaras. Follow the application tips and use three or more coats for volume. Only regret is that I did not try this sooner.
I've tried so many premium mascaras over many years and they all clump, create fallout or smudge. This lash tint goes on smoothly from base to tip, coating, separating and lifting my long lashes, resulting in a natural-but-enhanced effect. It may not be for everyone, but for long lashes, it's ideal.
